Tiffany Gassette is a Nashville based singer and songwriter, originally raised in the Virgin Islands. Her distinct and memorable melodies, paired with her honest lyrics create a unique and compelling sound. An eclectic artist, Tiffany draws equally on her love for the Caribbean music as well as the brilliance and poignancy of the many legendary folk, country, pop and roots artists who continue to inform her authentic style. She is best known for her band Rising Tribe, who toured New England and beyond for several years, opening for bands like Jefferson Starship, Black 47, The Hothouse Flowers and Sarah Borges and the Broken Singles.
When her daughter was born in 2013 Tiffany shifted her focus to songwriting and founded the Southern New England Chapter to the Nashville Songwriters Association. In the summer of 2016 she moved with her young daughter to Nashville to pursue a career in writing. In 2019 Tiffany was signed to Garvan Management. She is set to release her first completely solo project "Still" soon.
Tiffany continues to co-coordinate for NSAI and travels and performs at various educational and industry events. She was a finalist in the Hawaii Songwriters Festival in 2017 with her song 'Still,' the title track to her upcoming album. She won 'Best Of' at that 2018 NSAI Tin Pan Songwriting Festival for 'Behind the Times,' a song written for Country pitch. Her song 'Jealous of the Wind' was also chosen 'Best Of' at the Steve Seskin Bluebird Cafe Workshop in 2019. Her song 'I Close My Eyes' was nominated for Song of the Year by the Tennessee Songwriters Association and she was a finalist in the NSAI Chapter Challenge for her song 'Good Vibrations'. Tiffany is currently writing for other artists and raising her seven year old daughter in Nashville.
